I never said I wanted the seller to lose his life or be seriously injured. Show me where I said that.
I'm not talking getting hurt either ... maybe $500 dollars damage to your car would be a fair price to pay for your foolish lane change? ... fair enough karma for wishing that on the buyer?

They make not tinker with it too much, though they did try to take it a bit down market in its last revision. They may just stick to the four door sedans, since they tend to be the biggest sellers. The ironic part is that people laughed when VW tried to move upscale in the 90s, more into the luxury market. Now people are giving them flak for trying to make their stuff more affordable.
Back in the 90s, auto magazines in the US criticized the Jetta for being too small (similar criticisms were leveled at the underrated Mondeo sold here as the Contour). I always like the in-between size of the Jetta, but apparently most Americans prefer larger cars.
I would like to think I'm wrong, but most Americans seem to correlate size and quality, i.e. bigger cars are better. People can't understand why anyone would buy a smaller car when a bigger one could be had at the same price.

well colour me confused if my MDD isn't running at 34 deg after being on for 3hrs.
Nap must be working despite the strange message - is that possible? I've read of it not showing cache sizes correctly etc so maybe it is.
Anyone?

I read that the iPads might have been purchased from Costco after the fallout between them and Apple.

I think google has a lock on the map thing. I can't see apple employees driving around remapping the world to get their own data base
I dont think they are looking to collect source data - there are plenty of license sources for that today.
Its how the maps app works - I dont like Android as much as iOS for a lot of reasons, but maps and navigation is definitely not one of them.
I hope they upgrade their GPS systems also - in NYC, iPhone 4 GPS on foot is extremely poor compared to my Sprint EVO.

For the record, it's really easy to access the file. Didn't even need the phone, the file is on your computer. The iPhone Tracker software finds the file for you. Literally took me 2 minutes to do.
Can't wait to get 2 minutes alone with my EX's computer! -kidding, I could care less, but you get the idea.

Nothing quite brings the same joy to my heart as starting a render in FCP and having a look at Activity Monitor, and seeing a whopping two cores in use. Or having to export a QT file first because I can't send directly to Compressor.
Well to be fair, the camera manufacturers are twats for recording to a delivery codec in the first place
I agree 100% with both of your posts. It still bothers me that compressor is the only application that can make full use of both my Mac Pros CPUs.
And I really hate the look of low bitrate AVCHD but we have to work with it nonetheless.

i'm a webdesigner and totally agree with psychometry.
the new textarea feature is the worst way to resolve one of safari worst layout problems. current textarea doesn't show the scrollbars everytime it's necessary and sometimes resizes horizontaly while you're typing, damaging some page layouts.
if the new feature allows users to resize both verticaly and horizontaly it's probably a bad sollution apple found to the scroll problem.
if you don't design pages you may not understand, but sometimes its necessary to fix a size to a textarea and other components (height and width), otherwise it will push other elements and images would look like a puzzle. fixing size is one of the solutions to make pages working in different browsers, once each one show form elements diffrently.
even if the resize feature doesn't push other elements, override them would be terrible as well. if you have links and other text fields for example, how would it behave if you use tab key to swich field in a form?

I think the sensitivity of the swipe gestures should be a little more sensitive. It works at first, then the next time I try to do it on the same Tweet it opens it instead of showing the extra stuff.

Wow, the plot thickens.
I'm really curious if this will be just another "facelift" with a few bells and whistles like the .Mac -> MobileMe update.
I like the MobileMe website (even though I can't view it on my iPad...) but not much else has changed on the service since the .Mac days. Oh, there was the Calendar update which made my old iPhone no longer see my Calendar...
I have a Family Plan with 3 people on as well as extra disk space on MobileMe. I wonder if there will be similar structures to "Castle/iCloud"?
And "Rate up" on all the Miyazaki / Laputa references.
