A college football game every New Years won't help either.
Almost tragic what was done to the field. Why can't they go mess up Citi Field?Citi field is messed up enough with the Mets playing on it.:p

But I want the notifications. I just don't want (now) 15 of the same ones...
You can change it to daily and you won't get a separate notification for every post. It's much easier to simply visit the User CP and see what threads you're subscribed to that have new posts. I prefer not getting any emails.

Were the notes that didn't transfer from the same email account? If not, it may be an issue with that email account.
For the other question, yes, syncing two iPads to the same computer will result in essentially the same data unless you select certain things to not go on one or the other.

This is what I want to do:
I want to play a movie, pause it at a certain point, and place a playhead there. Then I want to play and pause again, and I want a clip BETWEEN the two playheads.
Even better, I'd like a way to advance or rewind by a frame if they playhead isn't exactly where I want it ..
Thanks!

How many licenses does that include? More than one, I am assuming.
No. It is not the "Home and Student Edition," but the full-blown Office 2008 edition including support for Exchange Server and Automator workflows.
Only one license. The Home and Student Edition still has three licenses as a part of the package, but it's more expensive and does not have the support for Exchange server and Automator workflows.
Of course, you have to be an educator or student to qualify for Home and Student, I believe:

The numbers come from the increasingly powerful microprocessors used in Apple computers over the years. The 6502 and 658xx are from the Apple II family, 680x0 were used in early Macintosh systems, 601 and beyond are PowerPC chips.

How about and automatic playlist feature that will list every song that other people suggest with the songs you have recommended?
You could have another list with If you like this song, then these songs recommended on songs that others recommended first and that you recommended later.
That way I could access others' recs for songs I like easier!

You could try a restore, then update. That may clear the issue with it.
Thanks for the reply. It was a good idea but it won't even let me restore it (same thing, "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPod, "Kimblee". You do not have enough access privledges for this operation.").

I’VE GOTTEN A REMOTE TO WORK WITH KEYNOTE ON IPAD
I’m like evryone else wanting a remote to advance slides. Today I got my Apple Track Pad to work with my ipad advancing slides in Keynote though BLUETOOTH. Working perfectly.
Let me go through steps.
1. Jailbroken Ipad (sorry only way around it)
2. Install Bt Stack Mouse – Cydia
3. Ran Bt Stack Mouse
4. Put Track Pad in discovery mode (took several attempts)
5. Once connected – it works like trackpad is supposed to. Pointer as well.
To use it around the room — press the round rubber buttons on bottom of track pad.
Currently going HDMI out – working perfectly.
Cannot backup — but it advances perfectly from across the room.
OTHER NOTE: Keynote Remote App — with BT Stack Mouse it does recognize “home iphone” but won’t advance to input passcode. Maybe soon that one will work.
Enjoy your presentations with BlueTooth Remote for Keynote Ipad.
UPDATE:
Just got WeBE++ to control iPad keynote presentation from iPhone.
Steps: jailbreak iPad and iPhone - sorry only way around it
Download and install BTstack Mouse - Cydia
Download and install WeBe++ - Cydia
Run BTstack mouse
Run WeBe++
BTstack mouse will recognize WeBe++ as 'name iphone'
Connect -
Run keynote and load presentation - put presentation in play mode
Click iPhone screen once to advance slides.
Very nice.

Those sound massive. Maybe they're from MacWorld (Powerbook G4) or WWDC (Powermac) expos or something. I have only been to an Apple store 3x, but I can't imagine them using anything that big. Thats why I would guess expo banners instead. Sound like a cool way to wallpaper the garage!

In case you are unaware; Castlevania Symphony of the Night was released on Xbox 360 Live Arcade yesterday morning for a mere $10.
Pros:
This game reminds me of playing this back in the day on a PS1. I've got this hooked up to my 53" 1080i Projection HDTV and it looks great. I'd say the game definitely looks better (though not good compared to the high definition games being released today). You can actually adjust the game to fit your screen, so no square game in the middle with design around it. I've got it filling almost my entire widescreen tv. The controls are very easy....it took me about 2 minutes to adjust to playing this on the 360 controller (which I thought might be difficult considering I've played this on a PS1 countless times). This game, in my opinion or memory, seems to be just like the original (with the exception of enhanced graphics)...though it's been awhile since I've played the original. I'm definitely grateful for that as I was worried they'd butcher it like they did Contra. Though this is single player and you cannot play online together..... a friend and I both purchased this and put in 3.5 hours or so of this game while on Xbox Live chat. That was pretty fun. For being a game that was on a 700mb CD for the PS1, the file size comes in at a very small 150mb. That is great since there's only so much room on the 360 hard drive. This also gives me hope that there will be many more games to come from that generation of consoles since they can compress them down this much.
Cons:
There's really only one negative so far that I've noticed; while going into my inventory screen the inventory area went all black. I could go to the pause menu and see it, but not to the inventory screen or back to the game screen to save my game and restart. I had to stop my game, exit out of the arcade, and start it again and load at my last point. This only happened once and has yet to happen to my friend who was playing it.....but I lost quite a bit of time in the game d/t it. So if you get this game, save every chance you get just in case there is a software bug or something.
Conclusion:
If you are a fan of Castlevania, buy this. If you appreciate great video games of the past, buy this. If you can only buy one arcade game from XBLA, buy this. If you don't yet have a 360, buy one and then buy this.
I've been gaming since the 2600 and have owned/played tons of games.....and this is a Top 10 game in my opinion. Buy it :)

Probably not going to line up unless I have to. I'm a current Verizon user. I should be able to pre-order on the 3rd. Do you have to pick up the iPhone from the Apple store or what? How does that work? Maybe hit Total Wine on the if I do!
If you pre-order whether from Verizon or Apple it should ship directly to you. I am wondering if Apple is going to do pre-order for in-store pickup like they did with the first iPhone 4 launch.

I wanted to use everything I had here to get iTunes to all corners of the house. This consisted of a Mac Pro running iTunes, a first gen patched AppleTV running 3.0.2, a first gen jailbroken iPod Touch running 3.1.3 and a first gen jailbroken iPad running 4.2.1. I have the Mac Pro running through a stereo receiver in the office, the AppleTV running through a home theater and the iPad connected to a portable stereo we can move around. The iPod Touch and iPad have Remote HD installed. Everything works perfectly, except the when the iPad screen turns off. The audio continues to play but is extremely choppy. I've googled and googled and haven't found any resolution. Anyone else experience this?
