Well, I guess I had already gathered that much :p. I know how to use the WHERE to limit results in one table, but how would I go about using the same query I have but limiting results to WHERE eventID (the same in events and events_to_categories) is listed with categoryID that I have specified.
Screenshots of example tables:
http://cl.ly/642g
http://cl.ly/63Ls
What if I wanted only events that were assigned to categoryID of 5? Or 3? Or 5 and 3? I'm not really sure how to structure the query...
Thanks for the response!:)

This was a product that has been pretty secret - even though there have been rumors about it - for so long and it was such a monumental announcement that the families had to be there.

I thought that this thread is about ACDs and I believe that they are primarily used other than watching broadcast tv.
There are already displays with xvYCC and it's gamut is so big that 8-bit colors will show banding. 8-bits are enough for ntsc gamut, but not bigger.
Next versions of bd / hd-dvd specs will include xvYCC and h.264 broadcasts will probably use xvYCC also in the future.
ACDs are also used a lot in professional video post production and there is need for more than 8-bit colors. Also high quality photography needs more than 8-bits. All DSLRs have had deeper color depth than 8-bits from day one.
8-bits is enough when display's real contrast ratio is about 300:1, but when we already have displays that have contrast ratio way beyond that, there is banding on a carefully profiled display. 256 brightness levels just isn't enough. That's why sdi has had 10-bits for a decade.
So there really is need for more than 8-bits with displayport or any other way. Even average consumers will notice that within a lifetime of a new ACD.
When I buy expensive high quality devices like displays, I want them to be high quality at least half of their life, not just now.
We absolutely need more than 8 bits on the pro end. 8 Bits would also decrease the range between colors of similar composition and improve image editing.
However, I don't believe OSX and the adobe suite supports more than an 8 bit pathway at present. I could be wrong on this. I think vista does.

If you want to purchase a package and then sell the disc on eBay, then I can understand your dishonesty. For the honest among us, the disc and its packaging are not needed in most cases:
What's "dishonest" about selling used software? Sure, buying software and selling it while still using a installed copy might be. But no one has even mentioned that on this thread. You're making an awful lot of assumptions.

Sorry for the delay. I did hook up the airport express and still it says that the ethernet is not plugged into the WAN port. I don't understand. I have had the cable company come out and they say the internet and modem are working fine. Am I to believe that the WAN port is not working on both my TC and AE, both going out at the same time? Any help is appreciated.

My girlfriend is Spanish, and we both love movies. We also both prefer movies in their original tongue with subtitles. I've looked in iTunes, and as I suspected, there are no subtitle options when buying a movie.
Is there a way to burn a dvd with subtitles on a MBP. I mean, I know there is, but what's the best way? I have Toast, but don't really know how to use it. Hardcopied subtitles or selectable...it doesn't matter. I'm going to see her next week, and if I have to, I'll just bring some DVDs where I can selected them in the menu, but that seems so...obsolete.
Thanks in advance!

Monkey BallmerHe's much too big to be a monkey. More like a gorilla. Maybe call him Gorilla B.
Plus he likes to throw chairs around and gorilla's like to throw poop around, so I can see the crossover. Poop slinging Gorilla B.

The best of luck searching for any other quality shareware or even freeware AAC converters. They aren't easy to find.

[QUOTE=globalhemp]iPhone to "borrow" from Disney Mobile's (http://disneymobile.go.com/) GPS Enabled Family Locator(TM)
Yeah and Disney is shut down the service after 8 months with little or no interest in the service. And is going to cost them $30 million to shut it down and as Disney and Apple sharehold it think it is a bad business model to be in.
You must be kidding. I first saw a commercial for this just yesterday during the baseball playoff. It seemed like a pretty cool thing to me. I hadn't heard about it before then, though...

My experience has always been that they stop at the first issue. Then there can be a whole series of fixes, submissions, reviews, and rejections. Each iteration brings you closer to approval but never with any feel for how close you might be. But your mileage may vary.
So if one as 3 things wrong with the app, A, B, C. They would usually tell you A after the first submission. And then you fix A, and resubmit. And then they tell you B, and then you fix and resubmit... etc...

One of the other rumor sites (AppleInsider I think) is speculating that there is a secret announcement to be made today by Steve at the Final Cut Pro meeting.
Sounds like wishful thinking to me :(

I used these guys for a professional resume (VP level) a few years ago. They do technical resumes as well. As I recall, they will do a re-write within 60 days if it's not working out for you.

My air is backlit!? Is the new one not??
The origianal MBA (early 2008), the late 2008 MBA, and the mid 2009 MBA all had backlit keyboards.
None of the late 2010 (redesigned) MBA's have it, and it is not an add-on option.

What did you read and where?
I don't remember the paper, but my friend gets it delivered in Draper.
It said you guys were up playing games on a projector and smoking meat or something. Sounded like a pretty good time lol.
I showed up at 4:15PM and was behind about 900+ people!

Vim.
Debugging is mainly handled within the browser. Chrome and Firefox are especially good at this (Firefox has Firebug which is useful and the standard Chrome dev tools are top notch too).
